To view the online videos for this course, you will need to have the free RealPlayer plug-in for your browser.

You may already have the plug-in, but if you are having trouble viewing the videos, it is most likely that you do not have the RealPlayer plug-in.

The player is free, and available at http://www.real.com. There are different downloads for the various operating systems.

Reminder, you just need the BASIC RealPlayer, it is free, and is not the player that is associated with a free trial.

Some find the Real site confusing. The company would like you to buy their software, try their super player for a free trial, and use their software for playing all your videos, mp3s, and other multimedia. Choosing to buy their software or assign their software to be the player for your media is up to you. For this course you need to download the free basic player, and you only need to enable the .rm filetype.

Downloading the software and installing it is very similar to other downloads, so this document will not go into the details of how to install software.

If you are having trouble with your computer or accessing the videos, you can contact the CIT helpdesk, helpdesk@cornell.edu.

If you experience a problem with the website itself, please contact atc_support@cornell.edu.
