Ksenia Kaladiouk - Budapest, Hungary Hi, and thanks for checking out my blog! My name is Ksenia Kaladiouk, and I am a junior in the College of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University. This semester I will be studying at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary. The focus of this international university is on the social sciences, and as I am working toward a history major, CEU is the perfect place for me to spend my time abroad. Thanks to this blog, I will be able to share my impressions and experiences throughout the term, and I couldn't be more excited! Please don't hesitate to leave me any questions or comments you might have. Thanks so much for reading, and enjoy! |

Ariel Estevez- Buenos Aires, Argentina I’m an English major at Cornell University. Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., I’m visiting South America for the first time. My heritage is from the Dominican Republic, a far cry from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I’ll be studying abroad for two semesters. I don’t know what to expect, so I look forward to getting to know Argentineans and their culture. To find out more, you’ll have to read on. I’m chronicling my experiences in this blog! |

Max Hansen - Berlin, Germany Hallo von Berlin! My name is Max Hansen. I am a Junior in Arts and Sciences, majoring in physics. I was born in Bozeman, MT where I grew up skiing, hiking, playing music, and studying in the company of friends and family. Physics is great, but I find it important to maintain many academic interests, in order to prevent myself from becoming a culturally ignorant science nerd. To this end I have decided to put many years of German study to the test in das Hauptstadt Deutschlands, Berlin. I am completely fascinated by Berlin. The city's unconventional past and dynamic present make it rich and complex. In my five month study I hope to gain a fresh perspective, which I will document through these posts. |

Sam Levine - Jerusalem, Israel Shalom all, Sam Levine here. I write to you as a junior History major in Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences. More importantly, I write to you from the holy land of Israel. I've been here before, on family and summer trips, but have never been directly immersed in Israeli culture and society. I'm looking for a fresh perspective, on Israeli university life, on Middle-East cuisine and night-life, and (of course!) I hope to offer a more balanced perspective on the intricacies of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I'll try and keep you updated on what I find…Enjoy! |
