ANNOUNCEMENTSCOURSE ANNOUNCEMENT, CORNELL UNIVERSITY, ITHACA. NY. The Neurobiology and Behavior Journal Club for Undergraduates is intended for Biology students who wish to become familiar with the scientific literature in modern neuroscience or behavior by learning to read, analyze, understand, and present summaries of original research papers from the current literature. Students will learn about different types of papers and their structure, and will explore methods for using library and electronic resources. Students will learn about broader issues in Neuroscience, and the about the process of science. Meetings will be held once per week during the regular academic semester. S/U grades will be based on attendance and on making a satisfactory presentation to the group.Papers will be selected by the class participants with assistance of the faculty. 1 credit (S/U only); Spring, 2010, Mondays: 4:30-5:30; W364 Mudd Hall.
