WEB QUIZZES

Quizzes are administered through the Blackboard System at Cornell. Please go to the Blackboard site to take the assigned quiz. Due dates and lectures coverage are listed in the table below.

Instructions for taking a Blackboard Quiz. First, use the link above to go the the Blackboard site and use the Login button to enter your netid and password. If you are correctly registered for the course you should see the course name listed among MyCourses. Click on Introduction to Neurobiology Spring 2009. Once the quiz is made available to students, it will appear as an announcement on the course welcome page, and the quiz will appear in the "assignments" window shown in the upper left part of the screen. Go to the assignments link and click on the appropriate quiz. Proceed to take the quiz. When you wish to save the quiz for completion later, press "save"; when you are done and ready to submit the quiz for grading, press "submit" at the bottom of the page. The answers will be available once the quiz closes. It is a good idea to print the quiz before you submit so you have a record the questions and your final choices (use print preview, print only the selected frame, and fit to page). Grades will appear in the grade book in a few days.
