Description: Examination of selected existing buildings in terms of systems (structure, envelope, mechanical, and life-safety), technical documentation (working drawings), and sustainability. Some classes will consist of visits to local or campus buildings. The course is designed as supplementary preparation for a "comprehensive design" studio, but may also be taken during or after such a studio.
Open to all B.Arch. and M.Arch. students.
Fulfills B.Arch. "technology" elective requirement.
3 credit hours.
Prerequisite: ARCH 2602/5602.
