Due: Sept. 18, 2007

1. Redraw assignment #2 on 11x17 paper, responding to any comments received; and adding drawing title(s), along with numeric and graphic scale(s). Use "architectural scales" for this detail. Also, save or scan as low-resolution jpeg file, reduce to 72 dpi -- 518 x 800 (email to me at least 3 hours before class).

2. Bring in drawings or sketches of possible final project. Choices include:

Small addition (approximately 500 sq.ft. or less per floor) to single- or multiple-family residence*
Partial or full drawings for studio design project (depending on size of project)
Other

* Any residence can be used, including my own.

The only constraints are as follows:

Drawings should fit, if possible, on 11"x17" paper
Drawings should include the following (with additions or deletions possible):
- cover sheet (with building graphic, symbols, abbreviations, etc.)
- site plan
- floor plans (no more than 3-4 levels)
- elevations
- building sections
- wall section and details (no more than 1-2 sheets)
- schedules (room finish and door; omit window schedule)

3. Reading: National CAD Standard: PDF pages 349 (beginning with "lines") - 364 (up until "material indications").
