Description:
Through a series of readings, exercises, and case studies, students will investigate ways in which structural forces can be expressed in works of architecture. Both the structural basis of form as well as the formal articulation of structure will be considered.

Prerequisites: ARCH 262, ARCH 263, ARCH 264, ARCH 363 or equivalent courses in structures and technology, or permission of the instructor. |
