Re-design the transfer girders that were inserted in East Sibley 157 when the internal columns were removed. Try to express the idea of "bending," or, more accurately, the resistance to bending.

Examine the actual conditions in ES 157, shown schematically in the sketch below.

Requirements:

For 10/18/04 class: submit elevations and other drawings, as necessary, to describe girder idea.

For 10/25/04 class: submit final drawings (as above) and model.
