Course description:
Concepts and procedures for the design of individual structural components (e.g., columns, beams, tension elements) in steel, concrete, and timber construction.

Course requirements:
Homework assignments, approximately two per week (10% grade)
Midterm and final exams (45% grade each)

Final letter course grades are computed by taking a weighted average of the numerical grades, and then assigning this numerical average to letter grades in a rational, but somewhat arbitrary, manner.
